What's the Difference Between Hollywood & Brazilian Waxing? I'm Glad you Asked!
A Brazilian wax removes most hair from the front, leaving a neat strip or triangle if you prefer, while a Hollywood wax removes all hair from front to back, leaving you completely smooth. Of course, it’s entirely up to you how much or how little you’d like to keep — even going back to au naturel is always a respected choice! However you choose to express yourself, it’s all welcome here.
With years of experience, I’m able to work with all hair types efficiently, so we don’t prolong any uncomfortable moments. While I typically allow 30 minutes for intimate waxing appointments, in most cases, the treatment takes less time — meaning you’ll be smooth and comfortable before you know it. Many clients tells me it was the most quick and pain free wax they have ever had!

"I'm worried about pain — it’s my first time!" It’s completely normal to feel anxious before your first wax. There will be some level of discomfort, depending on your hair type and your personal pain threshold, but I promise it gets much easier with regular waxing.
Please don’t worry — my treatments take place in a calm, relaxed atmosphere, and many of my clients (even those with very strong hair growth) end up chatting and giggling through their appointments. More often than not, the anticipation is far worse than the actual sensation! "It wasn't bad at all!" is the phrase I hear repeatedly in my treatment room.

What is a Brazilian/Hollywood bikini wax?
«Brazilian waxing refers to a hair removal treatment where almost all hair is removed from the intimate area, leaving only a small strip at the front. Hollywood waxing is the complete removal of all hair from the intimate region.
How you leave your pubic hair is a personal preference. You should do whatever makes you comfortable, whether it's all off, a landing strip or triangular!
How should I prepare for a wax?
«Make sure your hair is around 1 cm in length (long enough for the wax to grip, and that the area is clean. If the hair is longer, it can be trimmed at the appointment.
It is a good idea to avoid tea, coffee or other caffeine drinks prior to the treatment as caffeine can increase your sensitivity.
If you're a little sensitive to pain, you might like to take your usual over-the-counter pain relief about 30 minutes before your appointment, at your own discretion.
How long do the results of a wax last?
«Most clients come for wax appointments every 4 to 6 weeks. This will depend on how quickly your hair regrows after your initial appointment, as everyone is different.
In most cases, hair growth is minimal during the first week or two and increases in the fourth and fifth week. On your first waxing (or first in a long time), you may have a slightly faster re-growth as your body tries hard to feed the nutrient to the hair root canal to compensate a sudden hair removal. This is only the initial reaction and re-growth will settle after that.
Hair grows quicker in Summer than in the Winter as heat stimulates it. With regular waxing, the interval between treatments will increase. Continued waxing results in sparser hair re-growth.
Is my hair too thick for waxing?
«Do not worry. I have experience in hair removal with all hair and skin types from people all over the world.
Can I get a wax if I'm under 18?
«I provide intimate waxing services only to clients aged 18 and above. If you’re 16 or over, you can have waxing treatments except for Hollywood and Brazilian. A parent or legal guardian must be present and provide written consent for the treatment. Your comfort and safety are my priority, so I’ll ensure that every aspect of your visit is handled with care.
Do you have any waxing after care advice?
«I am always available if you have any questions or would like guidance before or after your waxing. As a general rule, after waxing, avoid hot showers, saunas, and sun exposure for 24-48 hours to prevent irritation. Wear loose clothing, avoid touching the area, and skip perfumed products. Gently exfoliate after a few days to prevent ingrown hairs, and apply a soothing aloe vera or a specialist aftercare lotion to calm the skin.
Can I have a wax at any age?
«I am happy to treat anyone above the age of 18. People of all races, genders and skin types are welcome. The most important thing is that you feel safe and comfortable while having your treatment.

«Please do not worry. I work in a body-positive and safe space where there is absolutely no judgement and everyone is welcome!
Can I have a wax if I'm pregnant?
«I’ve treated many clients throughout their pregnancy with extra care and caution to ensure safety and comfort. That said, pregnancy hormones can make the skin texture may change and make it more sensitive, so we may need to adjust the treatment slightly if needed. Every body is different, and I’ll always work with you to keep the experience as comfortable as possible. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out - I’m here to help!
